Pop-up Glamping Campsite in Devon

Eco-friendly yurts between the pines at our Devon campsite

Sweet Hill Eco Fort is a pop-up campsite in Devon, hidden between the pines on our iconic Sweet Hill. Spend a week away in the woods in one of our bespoke yurts, with gorgeous views over the coast and Channel. Each yurt can accommodate up to four people, with a range of beds available. They also come with canopy and outdoor seating, so you can enjoy your meals in nature.

Completely remote, we’re found way down a farmers track, away from busy roads and noises. Complete retreat to relax.

We’re eco-conscious so we use solar where possible, and composting toilets. You can eat and drink responsibly in our communal kitchen, with equipment needed. Come and go as you please, with free private parking, and enjoy your evenings fireside. Explore the quaint village of nearby Sidbury or make your way to the Jurassic Coastal town of Sidmouth. We are just 15 miles from Exeter. With plenty to see and do, so don’t miss your chance of booking this hidden gem.

We’re a pop-up Glamping Campsite in Devon open only to Friends and Family of Bukuu Pods & Yurts from August 30th to September 30th 2024. Book  today.

About The Area

There are beach days of all varieties in this part of the country. Branscombe beach (20 minutes’ drive) has splendid rockpools, whereas Jacob’s Ladder beach (15 minutes) in Sidmouth has a large sweep of shingle and sand. Seaton (15 minutes) also has a beach, although you’ll have to schedule your beach time in between distractions such as riding the famed Seaton Tramway or stopping for cream tea.

If you’re itching to go fossil hunting, the Dinosaurland Fossil Museum (half an hour) has a display of Jurassic marine fossils found locally. To source some fossils of your own, try looking for fish, ammonites and brachiopods at the Hooken Cliffs (20 minutes), taking care not to get close to the edge of course.

For easy days out with the kids, there’s The Ham Play Area (15 minutes) or the Farway Countryside Park farm park (five minutes). Seafield Gardens (15 minutes) has adventure golf and tennis courts. Meanwhile, at Powderham Castle (45 minutes), there’s the chance to walk goats, take a stroll among the grounds and castle or go bug-spotting.

A 15-minute drive away from Sidmouth and 25 minutes from Lyme Regis
