About
Bukuu was created out of our passion for creativity, sustainability and fun altogether. We wanted to find a way to share moments with others in creative, magical environments. We’ve provided our unique structures and furnitures for weddings, festivals, parties, and any celebration that involves love and fun since 2012. We’ve created magical scenes to tie the knot, set up incredible party venues and built zen spaces for yoga sessions. Learn more about Bukuu Pods & Yurts practices.
Starting with our unique Bukuu Teardrop Pods, we evolved our passion project into the thriving business we have today, offering a wide range of bespoke structures and furniture across the country. From the unique and versatile Bukuu Yurkee, to Large Yurts, and Small Yurts for accommodation and so much more.
We’ve shared treasured moments with friends and families across the UK and beyond. We’ve built Yurts overseas, hosted weddings and ceremonies, created unforgettable camping experiences, intimate festivals and our favourite experience of all, sharing our handmade structures at UK music festivals such as Lost Village and Green Man.
About Bukuu's Ethical Practices: Tread Lightly on This Planet
Bukuu cares passionately about the environment and its inhabitants. We promise to raise awareness regarding the environmental impact of hosting an event such as a festival themed wedding, as well as how to offset your carbon footprint by allowing Bukuu to host your party or event.
Human beings are conscious and creative, and this in turn means that we use the Earth’s natural resources. But why should we just keep taking and never give anything back? To mitigate this, Bukuu plants enough trees to offset the carbon footprint of every event. This includes offsetting the travel, food consumption and energy needs of the event from start to finish.
We weave sustainability into every structure we create. Using sustainably sourced materials from our sister company All Good In The Wood, reusing and upcycling where possible, and offering eco-friendly options for weddings and events, such as our composting toilets and plant-based catering. Our events are also powered by solar and battery where possible.
About Bukuu's Team
Bukuu is owned by Eon Graves, a creative carpenter with over 15 years experience designing and building creative structures. His experience with producing sustainable and eco-friendly structures in the UK and beyond lead him to develop a range of fairytale furniture, pods and yurts that can be enjoyed at celebrations and festivals by many. His aim is to create unique experiences for friends and family to enjoy, from festival-themed weddings to outdoor parties.
Our sister company, All Good In The Wood is the foundation of Bukuu, providing the materials and means to create such unique structures. We also design and build permanent structures such as treehouses and garden rooms over at Purepods. Learn more about the circle of life that is the Bukuu family tree.
Chris a local tree surgeon, he’s been the right-hand man for years, helping build pods and yurts across the country at festivals and events. Tom joined in 2023 as a creative carpenter and spends his time experimenting on new furniture styles, from traditional joinery to up-cycling. Louis is a forester and seasonal yurt builder, keeping up with all the festivals and events during the summer period. Chelsea works behind the scenes, maintaining our websites and marketing, reaching out to festivals and keeping on top of admin.
